Song Hành (An Phú) — the frontage road along the highway is lined with seafood, BBQ and beer spots, plus Estella Place mall.
Trần Não (Bình An) — a local street with southern Vietnamese eateries, ốc (snail and shellfish) places and vegetarian restaurants.
Local eateries — the alleys (hẻm) and residential streets behind the main roads are full of cơm tấm, phở and bún shops. A bowl is about 30k–60k VND.
Mall food courts — Vincom Mega Mall Thảo Điền (5th floor), Thiso Mall Sala and Estella Place have lots of chain restaurants. Air-conditioned and easy with kids. New restaurants are also opening in Sala and Thủ Thiêm (Empire City).
