Saved only on your phone
- Lesson progress, scores and review cards, favorites, your chosen area, settings, your nickname, your 'What should I eat today?' picks, translator history, bill-split calculations and currency settings
- Your location: the phone shares it only when you tap 'near me' or distance features. It's used only to calculate distances and is never sent anywhere.
- A random device number made by the app (not linked to your name or phone number). It's sent along with anything you post, so one phone can't review the same place twice or 👍/report something twice, and so you can edit or delete your own review.
Sent to the server (only when you post)
- When you post a review, star rating or 👍, report a closure, suggest a new place or send 📮 feedback, that text, the device number and your nickname (if you gave one) are stored. Feedback also stores the app language and, unless you untick the box, the screen you were on.
- Reviews, ratings, suggestions and nicknames are visible to others, as are 👍 counts and the number of closure reports. The notes in closure reports and feedback messages aren't public — only the app's maker sees them (including via the Telegram alert below).
- When a new review, closure report, place suggestion or feedback message comes in, its text is also sent to the app's maker as a message on Telegram (a third-party messaging service) so it can be seen right away. Where given, this includes the place name, star rating, nickname (reviews only), a suggested place's location and menu, and for feedback the message type, app language and the screen you were on. The device number and IP value are not sent. If a review is auto-hidden after reports, only its number is sent.
- To prevent abuse, we store only a one-way scrambled value of your IP address mixed with a secret. The IP address itself is not stored.
- We don't collect names, emails or phone numbers. Links and phone numbers can't be posted.
- Exchange rates are fetched by this site's server from Vietcombank and ExchangeRate-API.
Voices
The Vietnamese audio is computer-generated. The standard (Northern) voices come from Microsoft Edge text-to-speech, and the Southern (Saigon) voices were made with the open voice model VieNeu-TTS v3 Turbo (pnnbao-ump, Apache License 2.0). They may sound slightly different from a real speaker.

Map (Google Maps), translation (Google Translate — the translator's Google button passes along the text you typed) and delivery app buttons take you to those services, whose own policies then apply.
Deleting your data
You can delete your own review on that place's page. Everything saved on your phone disappears if you clear this site's data in your browser settings (this also clears your progress and favorites).
