Pool · darts — Phạm Viết Chánh Street in Bình Thạnh is the best bet, with pubs offering pool and darts a minute's walk from each other. Many of the old District 1 pool pubs closed in 2024–2026.
Thảo Điền (D2) — neighborhood sports bars with pool tables and quiet cocktail bars along Xuân Thủy and Thảo Điền streets.
Screen golf — Golfzon, Korea's leading screen-golf (golf simulator) brand, has several venues in Phú Mỹ Hưng (D7) and An Phú · Thảo Điền (D2), the areas with big Korean communities. Book ahead for weekend evenings.
Bowling — only a handful of bowling alleys, all inside malls. Many branches of arcades with the same name have no bowling, so check the list below.

Game facilities (pool tables, dart machines) can change. If that's the reason you're going, check the venue's social media or Google Maps photos first.

Tips for pubs and games

Order where the menu shows prices, and ask for an itemized bill to check.
Pool halls (bi-a) charge by the hour. Confirm the start time with staff when you begin, and ask to pay right away when you finish.
Some pubs allow smoking indoors. If you mind the smoke, ask before going in.
Screen golf venues that offer a 'caddie' or 'helper' may be hostess businesses. If they push that kind of service, leave right away.
Places selling laughing-gas balloons (bóng cười) are illegal, and customers get checked too during raids. If you see them, leave.
If you've been drinking, don't ride a motorbike — book a Grab. Even on a motorbike, any trace of alcohol in your blood gets you fined.
